Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BirdieJobs (“BirdieJobs,” “we,” “us”), including birdiejobs.com and any related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

What BirdieJobs is

BirdieJobs is a job board connecting people looking for work at golf courses (“Seekers”) with golf courses hiring for roles like front desk, grounds, kitchen, pro shop, cart staff, and caddying (“Courses” or “Employers”). Courses post openings; Seekers browse and apply. BirdieJobs is a listing and matching platform — we are not the employer for any position posted on the Service, we don’t participate in the actual hiring, and we don’t guarantee that any listing, perk, or offer described by a Course will be honored.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that’s true and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it. You agree to keep your profile and job/course information accurate and up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post a job listing you don’t have the authority to post, or that misrepresents the role, pay, or perks offered
• Use the Service to discriminate against applicants on any basis prohibited by law
• Impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with a Course
• Scrape, copy, or reuse listings or user data outside the Service without our permission
• Interfere with the Service’s normal operation, including attempting to bypass security or access accounts that aren’t yours
• Use the Service for anything unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent

We can remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

Job listings and applications

Courses are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including any pay, perks, or benefits described (like free or discounted golf). When you apply to a listing, we share the information in your application — name, contact details, resume, and anything else you include — with the Course that posted it. BirdieJobs doesn’t review listings for accuracy before they go live, doesn’t guarantee a Course will respond to your application, and isn’t a party to any employment relationship that results from a match made through the Service.

Content you provide

You keep ownership of the content you submit (profile details, job listings, application materials, etc.), but you grant BirdieJobs a license to host, display, and share it as needed to operate the Service — for example, showing your profile to a Course you applied to, or your job listing to Seekers browsing the site.

Fees

Posting a job on BirdieJobs is currently free while we’re getting started. We may introduce paid plans or features in the future; if we do, we’ll tell you clearly before anything you use requires payment.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any job listing, applicant, or perk will meet your expectations. You use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BirdieJobs won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between Seekers and Courses, employment outcomes, or perks that aren’t honored by a Course.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post the updated Terms here with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
